Explicit arguments
It means to state them clearly. Here, The writer is including himself through the first person and certain beliefs or arguments such as: true versus false, for versus against, these beliefs are imposed by him and will depend upon his intention.
Linguistic signals of explicit arguments are:

- I'm keeping my hopes up for...
- One might think...,
- I strongly believe...,

- It seems to me, to us, to ourselves, etc.
